Arkema offers high performance polymer solutions for corrosion problems with Kynar® PVDF, Rilsan® Polyamide 11 (Nylon 11), and Kepstan® PEKK resins. Kynar® PVDF offers high temperature resistance, low permeability, and high mechanical strength. It is used as a contact surface for the production, storage, and transfer of corrosive fluids including chlorine, bromine, strong acids, and sulfonated compounds. Rilsan® PA11 biobased powder coatings are used to protect metal from corrosion, impact, & abrasion. When the highest levels of performance are required, Arkema offers Kepstan® PEKK, a 3D printable, injection moldable, extrudable, coatable, and thermoformable polymer with excellent chemical resistance and up to 260oC continuous use temperature.
